TRACUELA
See how the song goes.
Bands keep their arrangements in their heads, in scribbled notes, or in a DAW that is far too heavy for the job. Tracuela lays a song out on a timeline where every part is sized by bars of music — so the structure is something you can point at, argue about, and agree on.
What it does
- Structure you can see. Intro, verse, chorus, bridge — each sized by its real length. Drag a section from eight bars to twelve and the whole song re-flows.
- A click that follows it. Press play and the metronome marches through the song at its tempo, with a moving playhead and per-section time signatures.
- Takes against the structure. Record or import audio, then drag and trim it until it lines up — so you can hear a take and see exactly where it sits.
- Lyrics that keep up. A full-screen sheet that scrolls at the pace of the song rather than the pace of the page.
- Setlists. Put the songs in the order you will play them, and see the tempo rise and fall across the night.
- Shared with the band. Songs belong to the band, not to a phone.
Where it is
Tracuela is in testing with its first band and is not yet on the App Store or Google Play. There is no mailing list and nothing to sign up for — if you want to know when it is out, send an email and you will get one back.
