Terms of use
These are the terms for using Tracuela. They are short because the app is simple: it stores your band's songs and recordings, and that is the whole arrangement.
What you are agreeing to
By using Tracuela you accept these terms. If you do not, do not use it. We may change them, and if a change matters the date above changes with it.
Your account
You need an account, and you are responsible for what happens under it. There are no passwords — you sign in with Apple, Google, or a one-time code — so keep the email address and the accounts behind it secure. You must be 13 or older.
Your music stays yours
You own everything you put into Tracuela. Your songs, your arrangements, your lyrics and your recordings remain yours entirely. We claim no rights over them, we do not use them to train anything, and we do not listen to them.
The one permission you give us is the technical one required to run the service: storing your content, and making it available to the members of the bands you share it with. Nothing else.
Bands are shared
Anything in a band is visible to every member of that band — songs, arrangements and recordings alike. Band admins can remove members and delete the band, which deletes its songs and recordings for everyone. Only invite people you mean to share with.
Recording other people
If you record a rehearsal, you are responsible for the people in the room. Get their agreement, and do not upload music you have no right to.
What you must not do
- Upload anything unlawful, or anything you do not have the rights to
- Try to reach other people's bands, songs or recordings
- Attack, overload or probe the service
- Resell the service or pass it off as your own
Accounts that do these things can be suspended or removed.
The honest part about reliability
Tracuela is early software being tested with real bands. It is provided as it is, with no warranty, and there is no uptime guarantee. It should not be the only copy of a recording that matters to you — keep anything irreplaceable somewhere else as well.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost recordings, lost data, or losses arising from the service being unavailable. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Ending it
You can stop using Tracuela whenever you like. Deleting your account is not yet possible from inside the app — until it is, email tracuela@gmail.com and it will be done. We may end an account that breaks these terms, or close the service entirely, with reasonable notice where we can give it.
Cost
Tracuela is free to use today. Paid features are planned, and if they arrive nothing you already have will be taken away or hidden behind them.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa, and the courts of South Africa have jurisdiction over any dispute.
